Smell My Feet!

So Vaughn's Halloween costume choices are becoming increasingly more difficult to predict. There was the black kitty run of 2006 and 2007 (was he a kitty in 2005, too? All starts to run together). Last year was some weird hybrid between the grim reaper and Pumpkinhead (and no, he has never seen the movie, so go figure on what inspired that). And this year: King Tut.

Tell me, should I be disturbed that my son wants to dress up in gender ambiguous clothing and has a fascination with women's jewelry?

On the other hand, he was perturbed that more than one elderly woman commented on his Cleopatra outfit, and he refused to allow me to put him in full pharaoh make-up.

However, he still wants that cocktail ring at Kohl's.

Yes, you should be concerned about the gender-clothing-thing. Of course! But what to do? Get a sterilized pair of scissors, and while he is sleeping, cut off any gender-specific biological body parts. Then you won't really have to worry. Anything he wears - from that point on - will be appropriate.

Hi, Saundra here! This is a good family network. I need to know more family oreinted blogs my blog is Womens Maternity New Baby, and I have more questions than answers. I'd like to do a post about how a person should feel comfortable about their self.
